ATMA Quality Assurance Reviews

The ATMA has introduced a program of Quality Assurance Reviews to assist Public Practitioners in their day-to-day operations The program is specifically designed to assist practitioners to improve their work practices to “best practice” levels. This in turn will ensure that clients of ATMA Public Practitioners will have the security that comes from being provided with a level of service and professionalism that meets world best practice standards, and that our members and the general public can have confidence in our quality assurance principles.

 

As these new requirements are mandatory, it is important that all ATMA members in Public Practice have an understanding of their obligations, and that they adopt quality control systems within their own practice.

 

In order to help members in Public Practice meet these new requirements, implement a quality control system within their practice and comply with professional standards the ATMA has compiled a new series of Quality Assurance workshops and a revised Quality Assurance manual which will provide material on mandatory requirements of Quality Control for Firms, as well as guidance and pro-forma policies and procedures which can be adapted and implemented in your own practice.

 

This month Bob Duncan (ATMA President) and David Kettlestring (member of the ATMA Professional Development team) will introduce members to ATMA Pronouncement 7 “Quality Assurance Reviews” and the new Quality Assurance program. If you are affected by the changes it is strongly recommended that you attend this information session.
